Authentic German home cooking I love restaurants with small, clear maps where you know exactly what you get for your money. Price performance is absolutely top! The taste of the sauerbraten with dumplings was like grandma's (not completely natural, but that shouldn't be the benchmark 🤪) No really a recommendation!

Super delicious food

Our food tasted very good :) The service was always friendly. The waiting times for food and drink were okay considering that only two people work here. Both the room, the tables and the toilets were clean. Since we came here on foot, I can't say anything about the parking situation.

Good prices, good taste. However, the waiting times for food are not acceptable, especially since guests who ordered much later were served much earlier. Parking spaces available, but too few.

Very friendly staff and the cook is great as the food is always delicious, hot and freshly made. It was not the first family celebration we celebrated in this restaurant.

Found this place back in January on previous trip to Jena. Back again following June. Ate here about 10 times during both trips. If I'm back in the area I'll eat there again.
